Our owner, Jamie Burchell, has 25+ years of experience with big firms and now owns and manages his second corporation. Our recruiters all have multiple years of experience in the staffing world. We have been a member of the HBJ Fast 100 two out of the last three years and were also named a top 25 IT staffing firm in Houston. Jamie Burchell
President
Jamie Burchell loves to play golf, pinball and watch sports. He used to be a member of a prominent soccer podcast and loves to announce his son’s lacrosse games. In fact, he has been nicknamed “The Voice” Pearland Lacrosse High School team.
Jamie is easy to work for and loves this business. He is so proud of his team and everything they have accomplished.
Todd Krum
Vice President
Todd Krum has two decades as a strategic IT staffing consultant and staffing operations executive. He has managed multi-million-dollar technology sector business lines for several industry leading staffing companies. Todd enjoys time with family and friends. Spending time with wife Jennifer and children Olivia and Mitchell make him a better person.
Genine Burchell
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Genine Burchell shares her husband’s passion for recruiting and staffing. She is a great mom of two fantastic sons, Colin and Harrison, a lacrosse mom and is heavily active in the Pearland community.
Her kindness and great attitude are a blessing in the office and for this industry. We are fortunate to have her with The Burchell Group and Jamie needs to thank his lucky stars she puts up with him every day.
Kari Stadler
Account Manager/Recruiter
Wow, are we lucky to have Kari Stadler. Kari worked as a recruiter out of college and used to compete with Jamie back in the late 1990’s. But she put her career on hold to be a great mom of two beautiful girls, Caroline and Josie, and a very handsome boy named Henry. Thank goodness she decided to go back to recruiting and we gobbled her up immediately. Kari is the epitome of customer service and quality. Her consulting and training background is a huge asset to The Burchell Group.
When she is not recruiting, Kari can be found screaming for her kids on the soccer pitch, volleyball court, track and football field. FYI, don’t frighten her, she scares easily!
Lexis Bort
Recruiter
Lexis has over seven years of technical recruiting experience. She started with The Burchell Group in 2019 and has added so much value to the team. Lexis connects with people on such a personal level and values being a recruiter, placing people and making a difference to each person she comes in contact with. Outside of working full time, she is a wife and a mother to two beautiful children, Leighton and Levi. Lexis is also an avid animal lover and takes in every stray she sees. She never slows down when she is passionate about something and truly enjoys what she does on a daily basis.
In July of 1996, Jamie Burchell was given the chance of a lifetime, he was hired to be a Technical Recruiter for a large Consulting firm in Orlando, FL. Jamie fell head over heels for recruiting. In January of 1997, Jamie was promoted to the Houston office where he quickly made a name for himself in the industry. Jamie has owned and been the majority partner of two outstanding Staffing Firms, Perspective Solutions Group and The Burchell Group.
Jamie’s first venture, Perspective Solutions Group (PSG), successfully serviced clients from 2001 to 2007. In October of 2007, a national staffing firm based out of Chicago acquired PSG. The terms of the acquisition required Jamie to remain with the firm for the next three years to transition and merge the operations. In 2011, Jamie started his next venture, The Burchell Group. The company grew rapidly and soon exceeded the growth of PSG.
The Burchell Group has been named a Minority Certified and HUB certified (Historically Underutilized Business) company by the Houston Minority Business Council. We are proud to have been a member during our tenure with PSG and we look forward to continuing that partnership with The Burchell Group.
